EVChargeSpec ("we," "our," "us") operates evchargespec.org. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We are committed to privacy. Our calculators run entirely in your browser โ€” we do not collect or transmit the vehicle specs, charging preferences, electricity rates, or driving habits you enter into our tools.

All inputs to our Charging Time Calculator, EV Cost Calculator, Vehicle Lookup filters, and Charger Specs tools are processed locally in your browser using JavaScript. We do not collect, store, log, or transmit vehicle selections, battery sizes, electricity rates, driving habits, state of charge values, or any other calculator inputs to our servers or any third party.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate site usage. GA4 collects:

Contact form submissions (name, email, message) are retained in our email inbox for up to 24 months, then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per our GA4 configuration. Server access logs maintained by Cloudflare are governed by Cloudflare's retention policies.

  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal obligations).
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising CCPA rights โ€” no price changes, service denial, or reduced quality.
  • Do Not Sell My Personal Information: We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is required. To opt out of personalized advertising by Google, visit Google Ads Settings.

12. Nevada Privacy Rights

Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of "covered information" as defined under Nevada law (NRS Chapter 603A). We do not sell covered information. No action is required. For questions, contact [email protected].

EVChargeSpec is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
